Data Ethics Policy
Introduction
Henrik Lydings Mindelegat follows the applicable rules on the protection and processing of personal data at all times. The Foundation's privacy policy and cookie policy can be found on our website.
In addition, the Foundation has established the present principles of data ethics as the basis for the responsible, transparent and ethical use of data in our work - including in connection with the processing of applications, handouts, collaborations, projects, as well as the procurement of services and technological solutions.
Greywell Ventures & Trusts LTD is responsible for Henrik Lydings Mindelegate's data ethics practices and compliance with this policy.
The policy is continually revised to reflect technological developments, current legislation and emerging data ethics considerations.
Principles of Data Ethics
1. Respect for personal data
We only collect information that we deem necessary to process applications or solve specific tasks. Information is retained only for as long as necessary and only for legitimate and clearly defined purposes.
2. Security and confidentiality
We protect personally identifiable and confidential information from unauthorized access, misuse and data leakage through appropriate technical and organizational measures. All employees and partners with access to data have signed confidentiality statements.
3. Openness
We prioritize transparency about our values, allocation principles and data use. We clearly inform you about how we process personal data and about the possibilities and restrictions that apply.
4. Statutory disclosure
Personal data will only be disclosed to authorities if we are obliged to do so under applicable law or court decisions.
5. Prevention of abuse
We have in place systems and procedures that prevent misuse of data and deal with any data breaches.
6. Data quality and responsibility
We strive to ensure that the data we handle is accurate and up to date. We actively distance ourselves from the dissemination of incorrect information, including through digital platforms.
7. Ethics in the use of technology
Policy on Data Ethics
Data ethics are a natural part of the selection and implementation of new technological solutions and changes in our data processes.
8. Automation and Human Assessment
Automated processes and the possible use of artificial intelligence are used to support our work, but crucial decisions - such as grants and refusals - are always made by humans.
9. Analyses and statistics
Internal analyses and statistics are prepared with a view to learning and developing the Foundation's work. Any external sharing of such data shall be carried out in accordance with applicable law.
