



The Henrik Lydings Memorial Fund elevates Danish performing arts by supporting new talents, compelling performing artists and groundbreaking performances. This is how we honour theatre critic Henrik Lyding and ensure that his passion for performing arts lives on.
Every year on the 7th of May, Henrik Lyding's birthday, the Harlequin statuette is awarded to performing artists who have contributed to Danish performing arts, with dedication and artistic renewal in the spirit of Henrik Lyding.
Production grants are awarded on an ongoing basis to selected stage projects that demonstrate artistic ambition, professional grounding, and a clear personal vision.
The Henrik Lyding Memorial Fund was established to carry forward Henrik Lyding’s spirit in the performing arts. Its purpose is to support emerging talent, outstanding performing artists, and groundbreaking productions, which often operate under limited financial resources.
