The Henrik Lydings Memorial Fund elevates Danish performing arts by supporting new talents, compelling performing artists and groundbreaking performances. This is how we honour theatre critic Henrik Lyding and ensure that his passion for theatre lives on.
Every year on 7 May, Henrik Lyding's birthday, the Harlequin statuette is awarded to performing artists who, with dedication and artistic renewal, have contributed to Danish performing arts in the spirit of Henrik Lyding.
Production grants are regularly awarded to selected performing arts projects with artistic ambition, professional grounding and a clear personal basis.
The Henrik Lydings Memorial Fund has been established to carry on the spirit of Henrik Lyding in the performing arts. Its purpose is to support diverse, innovative and independent performing arts productions, which often operate under limited financial frameworks.
