Throughout the year, we award production grants to stage projects that combine artistic ambition, professional rigour and a distinct creative vision.
Recipients of the production grant
Since launching in 2025, production grants have supported projects across theatre, dance, musical, pantomime and revue.
Kerteminde Summer Revue
We supported Kerteminde Sommerrevy in continuing a vibrant revue tradition that brings together professional artistry, local roots and popular appeal; a vital part of cultural life on the island of Funen.

Bournonville Gala
A grant was awarded to Nomad Ballet Project to bring a Bournonville Gala to Astana, carrying Danish ballet tradition to an international stage at the highest artistic level.
SELECTION CRITERIA
We award production grants to projects that combine artistic courage with professional rigour; work with the potential to leave a lasting mark on Danish performing arts.
Artistic Strength and Purpose
The project must be driven by a clear idea and genuine ambition. We place particular emphasis on the integrity, originality and conviction of the work.
Professional Rigour and viability
We look for a strong artistic and organisational foundation, including a competent creative team, a realistic schedule and sound finances.
Contribution to the performing arts
The project must have the potential to contribute meaningfully to Danish performing arts, whether by developing new forms, strengthening craft or bringing fresh perspectives.
Foundation for success
Beyond the proposal itself, we consider whether the project has the artistic and practical foundations to be delivered at the highest level.
